Proposed second choice programmes for Bachelor of Veterinary Science are Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in Animal Science. These programmes are also recommended for applicants who intend to apply again for a transfer to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science programme in 2027 or later. Note: Students who intend to apply for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science may register for Bachelor of Science in Zoology or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in Animal Science modules, including Medical Terminology (MTL 180). Careers: Veterinarians can work in private practice (small animals, farm animals, equine and wildlife), state veterinary services, diagnostic laboratories, veterinary public health, technical services, research and product development, etc.
