The bursary is designed for talented South African students who have strong academic potential but require financial support to pursue higher education. Beyond paying for university expenses, the programme also focuses on developing future leaders through mentorship, wellbeing support and career development.

What Does the Ninety One Bursary Cover?

Successful applicants receive a comprehensive bursary that includes:

  • Have preferably achieved at least 70% in English and Mathematics or Physical Sciences in Grade 11.
  • Maintain strong academic performance.
  • Demonstrate financial need, typically where the combined household income is below R600 000 per year (mitigating circumstances may be considered).
