2026 CAO Applications Now Open for KZN Public Universities , Here’s What You Need to Know!
The Central Applications Office (CAO) has officially opened its 2026 Digital Walk-In Portal for students still looking to apply for undergraduate studies at selected public universities in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN). If you missed the initial deadlines or want to make changes to your application, this is your opportunity!
Who Can Still Apply?
As of now, only Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) and University of Zululand (UNIZULU) are still accepting new undergraduate applications and Change of Mind (COM) requests.
Unfortunately:
UKZN and DUT are no longer accepting applications for 2026.
Note: Some private colleges in KZN are also open via CAO.
Until When Can You Apply?
This Digital Walk-In service is available until 28 February 2026, so make sure to submit your application or changes before that date.
