The Durban University of Technology (DUT) has officially opened its late application window for selected undergraduate programmes for the 2026 academic year. Minimum Entry Requirements:

National Senior Certificate (NSC)

Relevant subjects: English, Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy, Physical Science or Technical subjects

Minimum APS points per programme as per the DUT guidelines

Programme Requirements :


Bachelor of the Built Environment in Urban and Regional Planning: Requires English (Home: 4 / First Additional: 5), Mathematics (4), and subjects like Geography, History, or Life Science.

Diploma in Ecotourism: Requires English (4), Mathematics/Mathematics Literacy (3), Accounting (3), and one 20-credit subject such as Agricultural Science or Life Sciences.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Textile: Requires English (4), Mathematics (4), and Physical Science (4), plus two 20-credit subjects.
